New Delhi, 07 April (H.S.). Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at his office after the Lok Sabha was adjourned indefinitely.
The proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned sine die on Thursday. The budget session of Parliament came to an end with the Rajya Sabha being adjourned sine die.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, National Conference’s Farooq Abdullah, Trinamool Congress’s Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, ADMK, YSR Congress and leaders of other parties asked Birla for his met in the office.
Birla tweeted the picture of this meeting and urged the leaders of all parties that collective efforts are needed to enhance the dignity of the House and to raise the level of discussion and dialogue further. Hope all the parties will give active cooperation in this.
