Nainital, 07 April (H.S.). City BJYM and BJP leaders met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun on Thursday. He drew his attention towards increasing infiltration by illegal occupation of outsiders in Nainital. He expressed concern over the infiltration of Rohingya and Bangladeshi nationals in particular.

Former Municipal Board President Manoj Joshi and former District President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Nitin Karki told the Chief Minister that suddenly illegal occupation and infiltration is increasing continuously in the city after the Corona period, which is a warning for the coming future. This infiltration is being done by people of a particular community below Barapathar, below Tallital Dharamshala and on most of the vacant government land in the city.

It has also expressed apprehension that the number of Rohingya and Bangladeshi nationals may be high among these infiltrators. If this happens, then a worrying situation can arise in the city. Therefore, action should be taken on this very sensitive subject. On this, Chief Minister Dhami has assured to take action soon.
