Raipur, 7th April (H.S.). Chhattisgarh has its own identity in the whole world as the maternal grandmother of Lord Shri Ram. During the exile, Shri Ram spent a significant amount of time here, the sage here spent his exile in the midst of the ashram, nature, so Ram has settled in the folklores, folk tales, common life here.

In respect of the public beliefs, on the concept of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board is expanding the world tourism areas of the oldest importance in the form of Shri Ram Path Vanagman Circuit in present day Chhattisgarh.

It is believed that Mata Sita and Lakshmana spent 12 years in Chhattisgarh with Shri Ram. A target has been set to develop them according to global tourism by identifying 75 places where Lord Rama had visited. In the first phase, work is going on to develop 9 places from Korea to Sukma for a length of 2260 km, suitable for the environment of Ramayana period. From Korea district to Sukma, there will be darshan of Lord Shri Ram at every step and stories of importance related to him will be seen and heard. Sitamarhi Harchowka (Korea), Ramgarh (Sarguja), Shivrinarayan (Janjgir-Champa), Turturiya (Balodabazar), Chandkhuri (Raipur), Rajim (Gariaband), Sihawa Saptarishi Ashram (Dhamtari), Jagdalpur (Bastar) in Ram Van Gaman Path tourism scheme ) and Ramaram (Sukma). The work of development of tourism in these areas is going on continuously on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at a cost of about Rs 133 crore 55 lakh. Through the Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit, not only rural tourism is being promoted in the state, but new global opportunities are also increasing in the field of tourism. Along with increasing employment opportunities in tourism, Ram Van Gaman Path will make the rural economy self-supporting and strong.

This year, on the occasion of Ram Navami, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the project works of Ram Van Gaman Tourist Path at Shivrinarayan Dham on April 10. On this occasion, along with the eminent artists of the country, cultural presentations will be held by the eminent artists of Chhattisgarh in a three-day grand event at Shivrinarayan. In this, about 350 artists of Manas circles of 25 selected districts will give their presentations in the state level competition on April 8, 9 and 10 in Shivrinarayan. Ram Vanagaman tourism circuit Shivrinarayan will be started on 8th April by Mahant Dr. Ramsunder Das, Chairman Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission. On April 9, Speaker of the Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant will be present in Shivrinarayan Mahotsav as the chief guest. Ram Vanagaman tourism circuit Shivrinarayan will conclude on April 10 in the presence of Chief Guest Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. During this, Tourism Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu and distinguished dignitaries will also be present along with the Chief Minister.
