At the same time, Himachal and Jammu will also be in the grip of heat.

Light rain is very likely to occur over Western Himalayan regions on 19th and 20th April and at various places over Punjab on 20th April. On the other hand, Bankura in West Bengal recorded a maximum temperature of 43.7 degrees Celsius on Friday, while Sikar in Rajasthan recorded the lowest temperature of 17.5 degrees Celsius.
