485784-63821-congress-flag-reuters1Muzaffarnagar : Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Amar Paswan has won the by-election in the Bochahan assembly seat of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Amar Paswan got 82,562 votes, BJP candidate Baby Kumari got 45,909 votes and VIP candidate Geeta Kumari got 29,279 votes. In this way, Amar Paswan has won by more than 36 thousand votes. But here the Congress candidate has come into the limelight. Because he got less votes than NOTA.

After the death of Musafir Paswan, his son Amar Kumar was given the ticket. In the Bocha assembly by-election, the BJP had given full force. Apart from Union Ministers Nityanand Rai and Giriraj Singh, Bihar State President Dr. Sanjay Jaswal and all the big leaders of Bihar BJP had reached Bocha for campaigning. But the BJP had to bear the brunt of the defeat.

Congress candidate Tarun Chaudhary got only 1,336 votes. NOTA has got 2 thousand 967 votes. In other words, the votes polled by NOTA are more than the votes polled by the Congress candidate. This has brought great disrepute to the Congress.
