Siliguri, 16 April (H.S.). An e-rickshaw driver has caught everyone’s attention by setting an example of honesty. Generally people forget their belongings in bus, train or any other passenger vehicle. Sometimes they get their belongings back, but in most of the cases, once they get out of hand, they are rarely returned. However, Dhiren Mistry, an e-rickshaw driver from Siliguri, set an example of honesty by returning a passenger’s bag full of luggage.

Four women were sitting in an e-rickshaw of a person named Dhiren Mistry on Friday night in Thakurnagar area under NJP police station. After this they got down at the court turn of Siliguri. During this, a female passenger accidentally left her bag in Toto. Then a passenger in Mahabirsthan area saw the said bag while boarding an e-rickshaw. After which the e-rickshaw driver got worried about the bag as to how he would return the bag to that passenger. Eventually, with the help of some people, he reached the NJP police station with the bag. The police started searching for the owner from the mobile phone kept in the bag. The owner of the bag was contacted on Saturday. Later, Samjana Subba, the owner of the bag, reached the police station today and NJP police station in-charge Sameer Tamang handed over the bag to him. At the same time, Samjna Subb is happy with the role of e-rickshaw driver and police. At the same time, he said that there are honest people in the society even today.
