New Delhi, April 16 (H.S.). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described the installation of a 108 feet tall statue of Lord Hanuman in Morbi, Gujarat on the occasion of ‘Hanuman Jayanti’ as a fulfillment of the resolve of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. He said that Ram Kathas strengthen Indian faith, spirituality, culture, tradition.

The Prime Minister addressed the program after dedicating a 108 feet tall statue of Lord Hanuman through video conferencing in Morbi, Gujarat on Saturday. He said that it is very beneficial for Hanuman devotees in the country and around the world. The Prime Minister said, “It is not only a resolution to install statues of Hanuman ji, but also a part of the resolve of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.”

He said that this is the second of the four idols being installed in four directions across the country under the Hanumanji Char Dham project. He said that we have been seeing such a grand Hanuman statue in Shimla since years. The second statue has been installed in Morbi today. He said two more idols would be installed in Rameswaram and West Bengal.

On Hanuman Jayanti, the Prime Minister gave the credit for the betterment of the forest dwellers to Lord Hanuman. He said that Hanuman ji connects everyone with his devotion, with his service. Everyone gets inspiration from Hanuman ji. Hanuman is that power and strength, who gave the right to respect and respect to all the forest-dwelling species and forest brethren. That is why Hanuman ji is also an important thread of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat.

He said that Ram Katha is also organized in different parts of the country. Whatever be the language-dialect, but the spirit of Ramkatha unites all, unites with devotion to God. This is the strength of Indian faith, our spirituality, our culture, our tradition. He said that it united different sections and different classes even in the difficult times of slavery, strengthened the united efforts for the national resolve of independence.

The Prime Minister said that our civilization and culture have played a big role in India’s standing and unshakable despite the changing conditions for thousands of years. The stream of our faith and culture is of harmony, inclusion, equanimity. Therefore, when it came to establishing good over evil, Lord Rama, despite being capable, accomplished this task of taking everyone along, connecting everyone, connecting people of every section of the society and connecting everyone. It is the effort of everyone together.

He said that the best proof of everyone’s efforts, everyone’s efforts is also the life of Lord Ram. Hanumanji has been a very important thread for this. With this spirit of everyone’s effort, we have to brighten the nectar period of freedom, mobilize for the accomplishment of national resolves.

It is noteworthy that this is the second of the four statues being installed in all four directions across the country under the Hanumanji Chardham Project. This statue has been established in the ashram of Bapu Kesavananda ji in Morbi in the west. The first statue of Hanuman ji in this series was established in the year 2010 in Shimla in the north. Work has started on the statue of Hanuman ji at Rameshwaram in the south.
