Ram Navami 2022: Chaitra Shuddha Navami is the ninth day of Navratri in the month of Chaitra according to the Hindu calendar. It is believed that on this date Shri Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born. This day is celebrated as Shri Ram Navami. On that day, when the sun rises in the afternoon (12 noon), Ramjanma is celebrated. The idol or idol of Shri Ram is also attached to other rosaries. While worshiping Shri Ram, they smell it with the finger near the finger i.e. oblivion. Along with giving turmeric-kumkum to Shri Ram. First turmeric is eaten and then kumkum, thumb and ring finger of the right hand are flown on the feet. Kevada, Champa, Jasmine and Jai flow towards Shri Ram. After that Aarti is performed and Prasad is served. In the festival celebrated on the day of Ram’s birth, the observance of Ram’s birth is definitely said.

Ram Navami Puja Method:
On the day of Ramnavami, one should wake up early in the morning and wear clean clothes after bath etc. After that all the family members should worship Lord Rama, Lakshmana and Mata Sita. Before worship, they should do tilak with turmeric, vermilion, roli, sandalwood etc. and offer rice and basil on the dam. On the day of Ramnavami, he is pleased by offering Tulsi to Lord Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Flowers should be offered to the deities in worship. Recite Shri Ramcharit Manas, Ramraksha Stotra or Ramayana by lighting a ghee lamp and incense sticks. After hanging Shri Ram, Lakshmanji and Mata Sita, do their aarti and distribute the prasad among the devotees.
