It is not enough to plant a Tulsi plant in the house, but one should also worship it and serve it daily. For this, bathe every morning and offer water to Tulsi and light a lamp in the evening. Women should never keep their head open while offering water to Tulsi. If possible, mix water with milk.

Never give water to Tulsi on Sundays and Ekadashi. On this day Tulsi ji observes a fast of Lord Vishnu. Do not accidentally keep garbage, dirty utensils, slippers, brooms or debris around the Tulsi plant. At the same time, keep in mind that dirty water should never fall on Tulsi plants, otherwise you may suffer financial loss. Apart from this, there can be many problems.

Do not plant thorny plants around basil. Otherwise, misfortune and negativity will increase in the house. Do not plant any other plant in the pot in which you are planting basil. Also, do not keep the Tulsi plant on the floor. It should be kept in the courtyard or balcony of the house.
