Ranchi, 06 April (H.C.). Hockey Jharkhand has already started with a win in the first match in the 12th Hockey India Senior Men’s Hockey Championship held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Noel Topno of Jharkhand scored a hat-trick of the goal. While Dennis Kerketta, Pravesh Bhengra, Birsa Odia and Sumit Barwa scored a goal each. This information was given by Hockey Jharkhand Vice President Manoj Konbegi on Wednesday.

He said that in the 12th Hockey India Senior Men’s Hockey Championship held in Bhopal from April 6 to 17, Hockey Jharkhand started with a win by defeating Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman Island hockey team 7-2 in their first match today. He told that Novel Topno scored three goals for Jharkhand team and scored a hat-trick. He scored in the 4th, 22nd and 26th minutes. While Dennis Ketchetta in the 23rd minute, Birsa Odia in the 44th minute, Prashant Bhengra in the 46th minute and Sumit Barwa in the 56th minute scored a goal each to give the team three points to win.

He told that the team consists of Mandeep Tigga, Abhishek Kumar Sahu, Noel Topno, Susaran Purti, Birsa Bhengraj, Alphons Gudiya, Birsa Odia, Danish Kerketta, Bir Bogan Singh Munda, Albert Dungdung, Anurodh Bhengra, Jane Soreng, Sumit Barwa, Manohar Mundu, Bilad Kandoolana, Sujit Ekka, Mukesh Kindo, Vijay Khes are included. Congratulating the team on the victory of Jharkhand team, Hockey Jharkhand President Bholanath Singh said that it should play in the same way in the coming matches as well.
