Mumbai: Rishabh Pant has suffered a major setback in the 15th season of IPL. Delhi had to face defeat by 6 wickets in the match against Lucknow. With this came another big blow. Pantla has to pay a hefty fine.

Rishabh Pant was punished for over rate as per the rules of the code of conduct in IPL. Pantla had to pay a fine of Rs 12 lakh. Delhi’s team has already suffered a setback due to defeat and penalty.

In the 15th season of IPL, 15 matches were played till 7 April. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant is the third captain to be punished for slow over-rate. The first match between Delhi and Mumbai Indians was played on 27 March.


The Mumbai team was fined during the match. Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson was also fined for slow over rate on March 30. Now Delhi captain Pant has also been fined.

Teams from Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai have been fined on the first action. If such a mistake is made by this team again, then there is a possibility of big action. These three teams are not very successful in IPL at the moment. In such a situation, now these three teams have no option but to complete the over on time.
