KGF: Chapter 2: Sanjay Dutt’s 1981 film ‘Rocky’ was followed by ‘Vidhata’, ‘Imandar’, ‘Jite Hain Shaan Se’, ‘Ilka’, ‘Takhtwar’ and ‘Shoedar’. But playing the role of Ballu in Subhash Ghai’s film. The superhit ‘Khalnayak’ gave him a chance to experiment with his choices instead of limiting himself to good characters.

Sanjay Dutt is now starring in the Kannada film ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ which was much awaited after the 2019 hit ‘KGF’. Dutt said that it is not clear whether the makers of the sequel will approach her to play the main antagonist Adhira.

He said, “One day I got a call and these people wanted to meet me. So he came and I was completely shocked to see this character. I asked him how he told me about playing the role of Adheera in the film. And why not? They told me they wanted me to play the role.” Talking about his character Adheera, the actor said that the role is very different from Kancha China in Hrithik Roshan-starrer “Agneepath”.

In the trailer of the film, Dutt looked extremely dangerous and angry as Adheera with dangling hair and moustache. The actor revealed that over the course of his career he has often explored parts where the character has a particular style statement. However, the process of getting the right look is often a challenge.

Directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ will release on April 14 in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
