M Balaiya Actor Death: Veteran actor of Indian film industry M Balaiah passed away at his residence in Hyderabad on Saturday morning at the age of 94. He has acted in more than 300 films.

Since his demise, many Tollywood celebs have been expressing their condolences to the departed soul. Actor and MLA Nandamuri Balakrishnan also wrote a note expressing his deepest condolences to Balaiah. M Balaiah made his acting debut with Aithuku Pai Aithu, a social film directed by Tapi Chanakya and produced by Sarathi Studios. He made his mark in films like ‘Parvati Kalyanam’, ‘Bhagyadevata’, ‘Kumkum Rekha’, ‘Krishna Kumari’. In his career, he acted in about three hundred films. Nalupu Telugu, a play written by him, was later remade into Cheli Kapuram and received the Gold Nandi Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Balayya was not only an actor but also a producer, story writer and director of Telugu cinema. He has produced many films like ‘Chelleli Kapuram’, ‘Neramu Shiksha’, ‘Annadamula Katha’, ‘Uriki Echina Mata’, ‘Pasupu Tadu’, ‘Allari Pandavulu’, ‘Kireyi Alludu’. his birth Amravati Manav Gurvaiya Choudhary at Chavupadu in Guntur district of Mandal and annapuramma happened at home. He studied Engineering BE (Mechanical) from Chennai and ventured into films under the direction of Taapsee Chanakya, inspired by the plays of his college days.
