Elaborating on the incident, Khama Press said that neither the Pakistani government nor the Taliban-led government in Afghanistan had commented on the bombings. The e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has done so. He targeted Pashtun Islamist terrorist groups in those provinces. Locals in Afghanistan’s Nimroz province say Pakistani forces opened fire on Afghan drivers, killing at least one.

The TTP is a group of ethnic Pashtun Islamist terrorist groups operating from the north-western tribal region of North Waziristan, Pakistan, and has been fighting Pakistanis in various forms since 2007.
