Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has targeted India over the political crisis. He accused India of wanting a weak government in Pakistan. Qureshi also said that India hates the government of Pakistan which protects its interests and pursues an independent foreign policy. Qureshi, vice-president of Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, said his party’s aim was to build good relations with India, but it would not tolerate childish acts against Kashmir.

Asked not to interfere in Pakistan’s internal affairs

According to Pakistani media reports, Qureshi also said that no country should be allowed to interfere in Pakistan’s internal affairs. He said that Pakistan is an independent country and its decisions should be in accordance with the Constitution, the law and the aspirations of the people. Stating that the National Security Council (NSC) has directed foreign interference and deemed it inappropriate.

America targeted for outside interference

Qureshi further said that the main cause of concern in Pakistani society is external interference in internal affairs. The government confirmed the protest through its ambassador in Washington. “On the instructions of the NSC, we called a diplomat to the Foreign Office to issue a demarcation or raise a strong objection,” Qureshi said.

Qureshi claims – Russia, China and Turkey supported Imran

The former finance minister claimed that Turkey, China and Russia have supported PTI by issuing statements to the Foreign Office. Referring to a statement issued by Turkey, Qureshi said that he wants a better Pakistan. Actually Russia had targeted America for defending Imran Khan. Russia has said that Imran Khan is paying the price for going against America.

Opposition groups called for boycott of the bypolls in protest against PM Imran Khan’s rule. No-confidence motion was brought against the Imran government. The undisputed king of cricket Imran Khan threw a political googly and reprimanded several people at once.

No-confidence motion against Imran Khan government was rejected in Parliament. After this, the Supreme Court on Tuesday heard the Deputy Speaker’s decision to reject the no-confidence motion in Pakistan. The hearing was adjourned till Tuesday and the next hearing has been fixed for Wednesday.
