Shahbaz will take oath as PM

The National Assembly of Pakistan elected Shahbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister with 174 votes in his favor. After being elected as the Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif will take oath as the Prime Minister tonight at 8 pm.


By-elections on vacant seats

A by-election will be held to fill the vacancy left by the resignations of MPs from Imran’s party. According to Pakistani media, a meeting of PML-N and PPP leaders was held on Sunday in which it was decided to hold by-polls to fill the vacancies left after the resignation of PTI MPs.
