According to ANI, protests are taking place in many cities including Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and Lahore for the removal of Imran Khan. The protesters are raising slogans against the army and the opposition parties. They say that the Imran Khan government has been brought under conspiracy. Earlier, Imran Khan had talked about starting a new fight for freedom through a social media post.

PTI leaders are continuously appealing to the people to join the dharna. Party spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry appealed to the people to come out of their homes and protest the conspiracy against the Imran government. In the midst of all this, slogans of ‘chokidar chor hai’ were also heard in Pakistan. It is pertinent to mention here that Congress leader in India, Rahul Gandhi used the slogan “Chokidar Chor Haino” to attack the Modi government. Which has now become famous in Pakistan as well.

It is said that slogans were raised in the presence of Rashid.
The army played an important role in toppling the Imran government. This is the reason why there is resentment against the army among PTI workers. He called the army ‘watchmen’ and called them ‘thieves’. The slogan ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ was heard at a rally organized by party leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed at Lal Haveli in Punjab province. However, Rashid was seen asking people not to raise slogans. He asked the supporters not to raise slogans against the army. We will fight peacefully.

Talking about the midnight decision of the National Assembly, Sheikh Rashid said that if you want to save our country, take a decision not in the dark of night but in the light of day. He said that there will be Eid on 29/4. Be ready, we will start Jail Bharan Andolan everyday from Lal Haveli. I will start with Karachi myself. We will tell everyone that he is a thief, a thug and a robber.
