A shocking story has come to light for thousands of Indian students studying in Canada. In March, five Indian students were killed in a road accident in Ontario, Canada. Recently, MBA student Karthik Vasudev was shot dead in Toronto, Canada. Karthik Vasudev was a resident of Ghaziabad near Delhi. Karthik’s family first got information that he was missing and a few hours later he was murdered. Karthik lived in Sector-5, Rajendranagar, Sahibabad.

I was shot outside the subway while leaving the metro station

Karthik’s friends told that Karthik was shot dead near the metro outside Toronto metro station at 5 pm Canadian time. Karthik was just outside the metro station when someone shot him. Toronto Police informed Karthik’s friends about the incident. After which this sad news reached Karthik’s family. According to the father, this morning Karthik’s friend got a call that he was missing. Friends said that today Karthik neither came to work nor picked up the phone for three-four hours. After some time the news came that Karthik had been shot dead.

Son snatches father’s world

Karthik’s father Hitesh Vasudev told that his son had gone to Toronto on January 4, 2022 for MBA studies. Along with studies, he also worked part time in a restaurant. Following the incident, the family contacted the Canadian Embassy. Karthik’s body is expected to come to India in about 3 days. Kartik’s father Hitesh said emotionally, “Karthik is no longer in this world. At the moment I have no further information. We look forward to seeing you in Canada in the morning, after which more information will be available. All we know is that a black man killed Karthik.

Family shocked by the news of death

The family says that they sent Karthik to Canada to study. I never dreamed that this would happen. The family is in touch with the Canadian Embassy. It is said that it will take about three days to bring the body of Kartik to India. Kartik’s father Hitesh Vasudev works in a company in Gurugram. Kartik has mother, father and brother at home. At present, all three are in shock. Mother’s condition worsened as she wept. Karthik’s younger brother studies in class 10 in DAV School, while his mother is a housewife.

There have already been deaths in Canada

Last March, five Indian students, Harpreet Singh, Jaspinder Singh, Karanpal Singh, Mohit Chauhan and Pawan Kumar, were killed in a road accident in Ontario, Canada. An accident happened between a van and a tractor on Highway 401 in Quint City, southern Ontario.
