Kabul, Afghanistan: Kabul There was an explosion in the Pul-e-Khishti Masjid during the prayers on Wednesday afternoon. Tolo News quoted the Kabul Police Command as saying that six people were injured in the incident. According to Tolo News, a hand grenade was thrown at the mosque during the prayers and exploded. No casualties have been reported so far in the incident.

 

A similar explosion in Kabul last Sunday killed one person and injured 59, according to the AP news agency. According to reports, on April 3, a grenade thrown by an alleged thief in the money changer market in Kabul also exploded.

 

The information was shared by Kabul’s emergency hospital via Twitter, which said that of the 59 injured, 30 had been admitted for further treatment.

The Afghan capital has faced regular attacks since the Taliban took control of the country in August 2021. Kabul was the last province to fall before its takeover by the Taliban. Since then there have been numerous reports of human rights violations and attacks in the region.
