Islamabad Imran Khan is still not ready to accept defeat against the opposition. Even after the shock of the Supreme Court, he said that I will fight till the last ball. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared the decision to reject the no-confidence motion of the opposition unconstitutional. Due to the court’s stand, Imran will now have to face the no-confidence motion on April 9. No doubt, but experts say that even though the Supreme Court has termed Imran’s swing as a no ball, Imran has made a big game plan for the second time before the no-confidence motion.

Imran Khan even before the floor test By convening a cabinet meeting, he has made his intentions clear. He tweeted, ‘I have called a parliamentary party meeting with the cabinet. I will address the nation on the evening of 8th April. My message to the country is that I have always fought for Pakistan till the last ball and will continue to do so. It remains to be seen whether Imran will be able to clear this ‘test’ tomorrow as it is believed from the beginning that he does not have a sufficient majority.

Court reinstated the cabinet
A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court has ordered a vote on Saturday’s no-confidence motion to restore the National Assembly. The court also ruled that Pakistan President Arif Alvi’s decision to dissolve Parliament was illegal. The court also restored his cabinet along with Prime Minister Imran Khan. Even if Imran Khan does not want to do so now, he will still have to face a no-confidence motion in Parliament. During the hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandiyal said that the decision of National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri on April 3 was wrong.

What is Imran’s option now?
Imran Khan now has limited options after the Supreme Court’s decision. According to the order of the court, voting on the no-confidence motion will start in the Pakistani Parliament from 10 am on Saturday. It is almost certain that it will be difficult for Imran to collect numbers. In such a situation, Imran can resign before avoiding humiliation. Whereas the second and last option is to face a no-confidence motion. To pass this floor test, breaking the opposition unity is a big challenge, which is not possible at the moment.
