Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Police has become alert after the attack on the policemen outside the Gorakhnath temple. Security has been beefed up at all temples and monasteries. A team of CRPF has been deployed at the CM residence on Kalidas Marg.
After the Gorakhpur incident, the security of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been tightened. 72 female and male personnel of two platoons of central security forces will be present round the clock. There is also an alpha unit of 233 battalion of CRPF of women soldiers outside the CM residence.
Nowadays, Janata Darbar is being organized at the Chief Minister’s residence in which litigants from different parts of UP register their complaints against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The CRPF unit assigned to the Lucknow Police has been set up as a precautionary measure to ensure that no suspects enter the public court and people are screened.
Security beefed up at Gorakhnath temple
The security of Gorakhnath temple has been increased after the review of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Armed PAC personnel have been deployed at the first gate of the temple. Every visitor is being searched. Women police have also been deployed to search the women.
The entry of any vehicle till the main gate of Gorakhnath temple has been completely stopped. Vehicles are also being checked. Identity cards are being sought from all the people who look suspicious.
Raising religious slogans outside the Gorakhnath temple, a youth named Murtuja tried to enter the temple and attacked two PAC personnel deployed in security with sharp weapons. In the investigation so far, the police have claimed terrorist connections of Murtaza. Security has been tightened at Gorakhnath temple after the incident.
