Auraiya, April 16 (H.S.). About a dozen devotees were injured after a tractor trolley full of devotees going to offer prasad overturned on the temple after fulfillment of a vow from a village under Phaphund police station area of the district. Passers-by rescued the trapped devotees from the trolley. Police and ambulance were called and informed. With the help of an ambulance, the police have admitted the injured to the government hospital in Dibiyapur.
Anil Kumar, a resident of village Terai in the police station area, had three daughters. Four years ago, he had sought a vow from Brahmadev Baba Jamuli to get a son. After the fulfillment of the vow, on Saturday afternoon, in a tractor trolley from the village, with great fanfare, the devotees from the village left for the Grahamdev temple, Jamauli.
According to eyewitnesses, the tractor was at high speed, the trolley got separated from the tractor engine before Pata Chauraha on Phaphund Bypass and overturned under the road, while the tractor engine overtook, the tractor driver fled with the tractor. As soon as the accident happened, the passers-by immediately straightened the trolley and rescued the people trapped in it and informed the police and ambulance. On receiving information, the police reached the injured, including 38-year-old Neelam Devi wife Udal Singh, 17-year-old Subhi daughter Rakesh Babu, 35-year-old Radha Devi wife Anil Babu, 16-year-old Ananya daughter Aditya Kumar, 32-year-old GS Prabha wife Rajesh Kumar, 38 One year old Ram daughter wife Tularam, 24 year old Mandeep Devi wife Rakesh Babu, 18 year old Pankaj Babu son Subhash Chandra resident of village Terai were injured, who have been admitted to Dibiyapur hospital with the help of ambulance.
