Varanasi, April 16 (H.S.). On Saturday, BJP workers met Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak, who was present in the city along with Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, who was on a two-day visit to Varanasi. After a courtesy call on the Deputy Chief Minister at the Circuit House, the workers felicitated him by presenting him with an angavastra and a memento of Baba Kal Bhairav.

During this, National Organization Minister of Brahmin Mahasabha Bablu Mishra, BJP OBC Morcha Kashi region vice president Somnath Vishwakarma, councilor Shailendra Srivastava Munna, regional convener Dinesh Kalra, Sujit Maurya, Rajesh Kumar Chaurasia also met the Deputy Chief Minister. Brijesh Pathak, who came to Varanasi for the first time after becoming the Deputy Chief Minister, held a meeting at the Circuit House late in the evening to check the arrangements in government hospitals. In the meeting, he asked the officers of the Health Department to behave decently with the patients and that they did not have to take medicines from outside, that care should be taken. Government doctors should never do private practice.

The Deputy Chief Minister expressed hope that everyone would work together on the priority of the government regarding health. He said that after a month I will come again to Kashi and inspect the hospitals. Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal, AD Health Shashikant Upadhyay, CMO Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, SIC Dr. Prasanna Kumar of Divisional Hospital, Dr. RK Singh, CMS of District Hospital were also present in the meeting.
