Uttar Pradesh Excise Minister Nitin Agrawal said in a departmental review meeting held in the auditorium of Sugarcane Institute on Thursday that people who make illegal liquor in every district of the state should be curbed. For this, it is very important to create mutual coordination. This will make the work faster.

Initiating the review meeting, Excise Minister Nitin Agarwal inquired about the introduction of District Excise Officers and Assistant Officers from all the districts of Uttar Pradesh and took information about departmental works.

The Excise Minister has told the departmental officers in a stern tone that along with increasing the income of the department, it is very important to curb illegal liquor. In the districts where illicit liquor is made, the District Excise Officers should take strict action against it. There should not be any negligence in departmental work. He further said that according to the instructions of the Chief Minister, make a plan for 100 days and work for its implementation. Additional Chief Secretary Excise Sanjay Bhusreddy and other officers were present in the review meeting.
