Lucknow: The official Twitter account of the Uttar Pradesh government was hacked on Monday. This came two days after the Twitter account of the Chief Minister’s Office was hacked on Saturday. On Monday, strange tweets were made from the official account of the Uttar Pradesh handle. The tweets were deleted soon after.

A tweet read: “In celebration of the reveal of the Beanz official archive, we have opened an airdrop for the next 24 hours to all active NFT traders in the community! Claim your bean. Take red bean fren.” In subsequent tweets, several random accounts were tagged in. After the official Twitter handle of UP CMO was taken over by hackers, over 400-500 tweets were posted from the account. The hackers also removed the display picture of the Chief Minister from the Twitter handle. In this regard, an FIR was registered against unknown persons at the Cyber ​​Police Station of Lucknow under relevant sections of the IT Act.
