Kanpur : The houses of 22 accused registered under the Gangster Act in the Bikru murder case will now be attached. According to the police, a report has been sent to the PWD in this regard and has been asked to get the houses of the accused evaluated.

Police officials said there are 30 accused and the ‘benami’ properties of all of them are being traced.


The Revenue Department team has identified the houses of accused Hiru Dubey, Shyamu Bajpayee, Daya Shankar Agnihotri, Sanjay Dubey, Bablu Muslim, Ramu Bajpayee, Shashikant Pandey, Shivam Dubey, Govind Saini, Umakant, Bal Govind, Shivam Dalal, Rajendra Mishra. is. Dhirendra Kumar Dwivedi, Manish, Ramesh Chandra, Suresh Verma and Gopal Saini.

In the early hours of July 3, 2020, a police team that went to raid the house of gangster Vikas Dubey in Bikru village was ambushed by Don Vikas Dubey and his associates.


Eight policemen, including Devendra Mishra, the then circle officer of Bilhaur, were killed in the deadly attack by Dubey and his associates. Later, in one-on-one encounter, the police killed six accused, including gangster Vikas Dubey and five of his associates.

In October 2020, the police had filed a charge sheet against four dozen accused in this case. Later the police registered a case against 30 accused under the Gangster Act.
