Ayodhya, 27 August (HS). The time taken to test adulterated food and fake medicine samples will now be reduced. If the report took a long time, people used to take years to settle their cases. To avoid having to go to court for a long time, the Yogi government of the state laid the foundation stone of the Food and Drug Administration's divisional laboratory and office in Felsunda of Rudauli tehsil of Ayodhya. Its construction has been completed. Now all the offices will be shifted to the building.
The samples of adulterated and inedible items were collected by the Food Safety Administration from Ayodhya district and all other districts of the division for testing. They had to be sent to the laboratory located in Lucknow or Agra for testing. In such a situation, it took a long time for the investigation report to come and the concerned litigants had to visit the court for a long time. But now all the investigations will be possible here. Drug dealers also had to visit the court for years waiting for the report. The Yogi government has found a solution to this problem. For this, the divisional building and laboratory of Food and Drug Administration has been constructed in Felsunda village of Rudauli tehsil. It has been constructed by UP State Construction and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited for about Rs 23.08 crore. The construction work of this multi-purpose building started on 01 January 2022.
