Ram Mandir: On January 22 this year, PM Narendra Modi had inaugurated the Ram temple in Ayodhya, after which a large number of devotees were seen there. Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, said that since the consecration, about 1.5 crore people have come to the grand temple to have darshan of Ram Lala.
Champat Rai said, 'Every day more than one lakh people are coming to the temple for darshan. Since his consecration on January 22, about 1.5 crore people have come to see Ram Lalla. The thing to note is that today i.e. 22nd April, it has been three months since Pran Pratishtha.
At present, only the ground floor of the temple where Ramlala was consecrated has been completed, work is going on on the first floor. A 14 feet wide security wall will be built around the temple. This wall is called the 'parkota' of the temple.
three storey temple
This temple has three floors. The height of each floor will be 20-20 feet. Ram temple is being built on a total of 2.7 acres. Its height will be approximately 161 feet. Temple construction and other projects may take more time. Chairman of the temple construction committee, Nripendra Mishra said that the ground floor has just been constructed. The first and second floors will be completed by December 2024. But, divinity and grandeur have started becoming visible in Ayodhya. In the coming days, the devotees here will experience Treta Yuga. From the design of the temple to the style of the city, it is special.
7 other temples
Ram Mandir Trust says that along with the temple of Lord Ram, 7 other temples are also being built in the complex. Maharishi Valmiki Temple, Maharishi Vashishtha Temple, Maharishi Vishwamitra Temple, Maharishi Agastya Temple, Nishad Raj, Mata Shabari, Devi Ahilya Temple will make people feel a direct connection with Treta Yuga. The main gate of the temple will be known as Singh Dwar. The temple is being constructed completely according to Indian tradition and with indigenous technology. Special attention is being given to environment-water conservation. 70% of the total area of 70 acres will always be green.
An ancient Sitakoopa can be seen near the temple. Temples of Surya, Bhagwati, Ganesha and Shiva will be built in the four corners of the complex. There will be temples of Annapurna and Hanumanji in the north and south.
