Hamirpur, 27 April (HS). Ranjit Rana, Congress candidate from Sujanpur assembly constituency, said that Rajendra Rana used to go to the Chief Minister with his own work and not that of the public. In his desire to become a minister, he has played with the public trust. In the last 15 months, he worked to push Hamirpur back. There is huge anger among the public because of this work done by him. He said this after returning from Delhi after taking Congress ticket.
After his return from Delhi on Saturday, he was welcomed at various places by the District Congress and Congress workers. He said that the Chief Minister belongs to an ordinary family. He thinks about the welfare of the public day and night but some people have taken wrong steps to fulfill their personal interests.
Ca. Ranjit Rana said that work has been done to push Hamirpur back for the last 15 months. First a Chief Minister was pushed back and now the same attitude is being adopted towards the Chief Minister of the state Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. He said that Hamirpur has got the Chief Minister with great difficulty. This is a good fortune for Hamirpur but some people are not liking it. An attempt is being made to hatch a conspiracy against the Chief Minister in order to become a minister.
He said that Rajendra Rana has failed in developing Sujanpur. He did not meet the Chief Minister to get the area developed but kept going to satisfy his personal interest. When their own interests are not fulfilled, they resort to other tactics. The public has understood his politics very well. He said that I have no desire for any post. I am leaving as a true well-wisher among the people. If I get the blessings of the public, I will remain dedicated to serving the people of Sujanpur till my last breath. He said that the Chief Minister of the state understands the pain and suffering of the people. During the disaster, he visited the entire state as well as Sujanpur. Ensured that all the affected families are helped as much as possible.
He said that he has too many issues to go before the public. The turmoil that has been going on for the last 15 months, sometimes Azad, sometimes BJP, sometimes Congress and then BJP. This kind of politics is being done. Captain Ranjit Rana said that he is not going among the people to do politics but to get the opportunity to serve them.
