Railways gave relief to lakhs of passengers, minimum fare for local trains was reduced from Rs 30 to Rs 10

The Railway Ministry, which is continuously working on the convenience of passengers, has made rapid changes in the infrastructure in the last few years. Due to this, passengers have also got many facilities. Now the Railway Board has given great relief to the daily traveling passengers by reducing the rail fares. During the last three years the minimum fare has been reduced to one-third. During the last three years, the minimum fare was increased from Rs 10 to Rs 30 but now the board has again reduced it to Rs 10. Due to increase in minimum fare, passengers had to pay Rs 30 to go from one station to another.

Due to increase in fares, many times passengers have to travel in express trains. This decision taken by the Railway Board will benefit lakhs of daily commuters of the country including Delhi-NCR. Railways has always been considered the cheapest means of transport. Because of this, lakhs of passengers travel by trains every day. Before the Corona epidemic in the year 2020, the train fare was Rs 10, but after Corona, when trains started operating, it was increased to Rs 30.

Passengers have many times demanded from the Railway Board to reduce the increased fares. Now the Railway Board has said in its order that the minimum fare will be charged from passengers at the rate of Rs 10. Information related to reduced fares has also been updated in the local ticket booking app, software and UTS app. After Corona, the trains being run by the Railways were described as mail and express trains. The minimum fare for such trains is Rs 30. Local trains were stopped at this time.

But now after the resumption of local trains, the minimum fare has been reduced to Rs 10. After the implementation of this decision, lakhs of daily commuters of the country including Delhi-NCR will benefit.
