A horrific train accident took place in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal on Thursday. Many people lost their lives in this accident and many people were seriously injured. This train accident was going from Patna to Guwahati. A total of 6 coaches of the Bikaner-Guwahati Express train derailed. During this accident, Padmashree Karim-ul-Haq took the injured in the train accident on his bike and took them to the hospital with the help of villagers. When the ambulance was not able to reach the spot, Padmashree used the bike as a bike ambulance.

Let us tell you that after this horrific train accident, the Railways had announced that the family of the deceased would be given a compensation of Rs 5 lakh, while those seriously injured would get a compensation of Rs 1 lakh.
