The new sports policy made on the instructions of CM Mann has started showing concrete results and under the new policy, players participating in the Olympics will be given Rs 15 lakh per player for preparation.

In Paris Olympics, the gold medal winner will be given Rs 3 crore, the silver medal winner will be given Rs 2 crore and the bronze medal winner will be given Rs 1 crore. This information has been shared by Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer. 6 shooters from Punjab have been selected for Paris Olympics.

Sports Minister Meet Hayer said that Punjab will once again become the leading state of the country in sports. Work is also in progress to build sports infrastructure to create a sports culture in the villages and towns of the state.
