Varanasi, May 28 (HS). Workers of various organizations are also active for 100% voting in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections. They are making voters aware through voter awareness campaigns.
Students also participated with great enthusiasm in the seminar 'Public participation in voting and journalism: in the context of Varanasi Lok Sabha' organized at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Banaras Hindu University on Tuesday.
As the main speaker in the program, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Kashi's Prant Pracharak Ramesh appealed to the people present to vote 100 percent. He said that it is your right to press the EVM button with your finger, which determines your future for the next 5 years. It is impossible to form public opinion without voting. Incomplete voting leads to incomplete public opinion. Therefore, all of us should try to ensure that there is complete voting at the booths around us, only then a strong government with full majority will be formed.
He said that every single vote is necessary to ensure the victory of the candidate selected by you and to form a strong government. Use your right to vote judiciously, so that the path to form a corruption-free nationalist government can be cleared. Only a person who respects the culture of the country and takes care of the heritage will take the country on the right path. In such a situation, the responsibility of the person sitting at the last rung of the society also increases to come out of their homes to vote and take a pledge that to elect a strong government, first we will vote and then have refreshments.
He said that before casting the vote we must think that our vote should be for such a person who is determined to awaken national consciousness, build a united India and take the country forward on the path of progress.
In the program, the chief guest, former MLA and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Lok Sabha election director Jagdish Patel appealed to everyone to create awareness around them to vote. He said that today a nationalist government is necessary to save the existence of the country.
While presiding over the function, Dr Kaushal Kant Mishra said that the country is the same, the system is the same, the people are the same, but the entire picture changed as soon as the leadership changed. All of you should vote 100% to elect a strong government.
Program coordinator, Associate Professor of Journalism Department, Dr. Gyan Prakash Mishra said that it is extremely necessary to increase the voting percentage in the university. Because the biggest protector of democracy is lagging behind in this task, which is worrying. Dr. Bala Lakhendra played the role of co-coordinator and director. Dr. Subodhkant Mishra gave the vote of thanks.
