SKM issued a release on Tuesday saying that the Samyukta Kisan Morcha-Non-Political (SKM-NP) has rejected the Central Government's proposal for five-year contract farming and crop diversification for five crops at MSP, which is welcome. is capable. SKM said that 27 farmers are committing suicide every day and young farmers are forced to join the ranks of migrant laborers to work for nominal wages in urban centers while 80 crore people are dependent on free ration under Modi rule. Therefore, the biggest solidarity of the farmer movement against the corporate forces is the need of the hour.
SKM said that the organization has urged all farmer organizations to support the farmers' protests in the constituencies of BJP-NDA MPs on 21st February to implement the agreement signed by the Modi government with SKM on 09th December 2021 and to support the farmers. But there will be a demand to stop the brutal state repression.
SKM believes that it is the responsibility of the Prime Minister and the executive to implement the agreement signed with SKM on December 09, 2021. Do justice to the promise made in the BJP manifesto of 2014 general elections by implementing MSP at CITU plus 50 per cent with legal guarantee for all crops.
