This event will be held between 11 and 13 September at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida as an international trade fair for electronics development and production. This event will spread its amazing charm through various pavilions located in a total area of 35 thousand square meters, in which 589 exhibitors from all over the world are participating. In this event too, the Yogi government will have a special focus on the growing importance of Uttar Pradesh in the field of technology and the Yogi government is giving the highest importance to the investment-oriented environment of the state, good governance as well as the promotion of sector-favorable policies.
It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh is a leader in the mobile manufacturing industry and also has a special contribution in the manufacturing of electronic products. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision is to make the state a one trillion dollar economy in the next few years. In such a situation, work is being done on a large scale to expand the semiconductor sector in the state, large chip building companies set up plants here and various clusters of electronic goods manufacturing can be implemented across the state. In the current event also, the Yogi government has the maximum focus on these factors. Some clusters are working in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Noida and Greater Noida and through these, Uttar Pradesh is contributing 55% to the country's mobile manufacturing and up to 50 percent to mobile component manufacturing. Electronics Manufacturing Policy was introduced by Uttar Pradesh in the year 2020, through which provisions have been made to promote the electronics industry in the state, establish electronic clusters and provide other benefits including subsidy on the development of EMC structure. Under Productronica India 2024, a conference will be organized on various topics and subjects between 11 and 13 September. It will cover topics like PCB and EMS, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Cables-Coils and Hybrid, Semiconductor, Future Production and Overall Production Support. During this, companies will also exhibit their products and experts from leading companies and countries of the electronics manufacturing sector from all over the world will participate. 58 percent of the total visitors in the program are foreigners, out of which 54 percent are foreign exhibitors. As per the vision of Chief Minister Yogi, the IT and Electronics Department from the Government of Uttar Pradesh and UP Electronics Corporation Limited (UPLC) working under the Government of Uttar Pradesh are participating in the program. Sector favoring policies will be promoted by the department in the field of electronics, semiconductor and chip manufacturing. Along with this, meetings will also be organized with investors here, which will pave the way for investment and employment generation in the state.
