Paris Olympics 2024: Paris Olympics 2024 has concluded, in which 117 athletes from India participated. In which India has won a total of six medals including five bronze and one silver. Indian hockey team captain Harmanpreet Singh gifted a hockey stick on behalf of the team.

Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra is in Germany, where he is to undergo surgery. Wrestler Vinesh Phogat will come to India by August 17.

These athletes won medals in Paris

India has won a total of six medals in the Paris Olympics. Manu Bhaker won the first medal in shooting, a bronze medal in the women's 10m air pistol. Later, Manu Bhaker also won another bronze in the mixed team event. Sarabjot Singh was also with her in the team. The third bronze medal was won by Swapnil Kushal in the men's 50m rifle throw position. The men's hockey team won bronze and Neeraj Chopra won silver in javelin throw. Wrestler Aman Sehrawat won the bronze medal in men's 57kg freestyle.

India won 7 medals including one gold in Tokyo Olympics (2020), which is India's best performance ever in Olympic history. It is expected that India's medal count will increase to double digits in the next Olympics.
