One pilot present in the plane had ejected from the plane and two pilots were missing. The injured pilot was admitted to the hospital. While the search for the remaining two pilots continued for 10 hours. After 10 hours of search, the bodies of both the pilots were found. This accident has created a sensation in the entire area.

The French President tweeted

Both Rafale fighter jets arrived at the French Air Force training center in Saint Dizier. The pilots in the plane were on training. However, in the darkness of the night, both the planes collided and this terrible accident was witnessed. French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his grief by tweeting on the X platform. He wrote, “We are saddened to hear the news of the death of Captain Sebastian Mabire and Lieutenant Mathis Laurence in a plane crash during the Rafale training mission. We stand with the families of all the martyrs in this hour of grief.'
