Varanasi, September 21 (HS). Amidst the controversy over laddu prasadam of Tirupati Balaji Devasthanam in Andhra Pradesh, the purity of the prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple was tested here. Devotees expressed happiness when the prasad was found to be pure in the test. The SDM of the temple, Shambhu Sharan Singh, suddenly reached the place where the prasad is made and checked the ingredients used in making the laddu (Mahaprasadam) distributed among the visitors in the temple.
During the inspection, the place where Prasad is prepared was thoroughly inspected. During this, he strictly instructed the person preparing Prasad to strictly take care of the cleanliness of the ingredients, process and personnel used in making Prasad. During this, he also called the officers of Food and Drug Administration. The Prasad was found to be pure even during the department's inspection. Despite this, for complete satisfaction, the ingredients used in making Prasad were sent to the lab for testing. According to the Temple Trust, the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple administration is always ready to protect the faith of the devotees. No irregularities of any kind were found during the inspection. To ensure that the highest standards are always followed with caution, a system of continuous inspection has been made for this purpose.
