A two-day philatelic festival was organized on Tuesday at Project Kanya Inter School, Nawada District Headquarters, which was inaugurated by Chief Postmaster General of Bihar, Anil Kumar. He said that the work of preserving the heritage is also being done by issuing postage stamps on the Sarvodaya Ashram of Shekhodevara of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan. He said that those who want to become big with money should definitely collect postage stamps. One day they will be issued postage stamps. It will make even a big money man. He said that Postal Mahotsav is being organized because the first postal stamp in the world was issued in Patna, India. Therefore, the identity of the postal stamp and its origin is linked to Bihar.

He said that Bihar has a glorious past, in which the issuance of postal stamps is also a link to that glorious past. MLA Arun Devi said that through the Postal Festival, the common people connect with the post office and also get information about it. Former MLA Anil Singh, while discussing the usefulness of postal importance, said that no amount of praise for it is enough. Earlier, on the occasion of Postal Stamp Festival, the Nawada MP flagged off the Dakarath in the Parliament. Who will go from village to village and promote the usefulness in the understanding of the postal department.

On this occasion, Post Office spokesperson Jitendra Kumar said that with the blessings of Chief Postmaster General Anil Kumar Sir, the Philatelic Festival has been organized in a better way in Nawada. After 11 years, the Postal Stamp Festival has been started once again in Nawada on a large scale by organizing a two-day program at the Project Girls Inter Vidyalaya of the district headquarters.
