Mirzapur, 29 August (HS). Superintendent of Police Abhinandan suspended the policeman on Thursday with immediate effect for misbehaving with a chaat-phulki vendor. A departmental inquiry was also initiated against him.
The Superintendent of Police, after taking cognizance of the allegations of constable Ram Vilas Paswan posted in the police line for misbehaving with a chaat-phulka vendor on a cart and threatening to implicate him in a false case and tarnishing the image of the police in the minds of the general public, suspended him with immediate effect and agreed to a departmental inquiry.
