Police launched 15-day awareness campaign regarding cyber crime

Haridwar, 17 February (HS). Today Kotwali Ranipur Police launched an awareness campaign to prevent cyber crimes. In the campaign, Inspector in-charge Kotwali Ranipur went to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector-4 BHEL and made about 300 students aware about cyber crime.

During this, Kendriya Vidyalaya Principal Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Principal Mrs. Taruna Kaur and other teachers were present. Apart from this, Ranipur Police also organized an essay competition in Salempur Inter College, Arzoo Public Junior High School, Salempur to make the students aware about the prevention of cyber crime. Elders, senior citizens and members of the public living in Ranipur area were also made aware about cyber fraud and asked to immediately report any cyber crime on number 1930. During the program, benefits of Uttarakhand Police App were explained to all students, elderly, senior citizens and members of the public and they were encouraged to download the app and other apps included in it like Gaura Shakti App, Cyber ​​Complaint, Domestic Servant, Tenant Verification etc. Awareness was created regarding e-FIR.
