Ghaziabad, September 9 (HS). A case of death threats on mobile phone to poet and Ram Katha narrator Dr. Kumar Vishwas has come to light. A caller threatened Dr. Vishwas on Saturday when he was narrating Shri Ram Katha in Singapore. In this regard, his manager Praveen Pandey has lodged an FIR with the police.
ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh said that the police have registered an FIR and started investigation on the basis of the caller's number. Investigation has revealed that the call came from Mumbai and the caller was drunk at that time. The caller will be arrested soon. Manager Praveen has told the police in his complaint that his and Dr. Vishwas's life is in danger. The caller neither told his name nor took the name of any organization. He directly abused Dr. Vishwas by taking his name and threatened to kill him if he narrated the Ram Katha. The manager has said that it is necessary to take it seriously considering the nature of the threat and in this regard he is ready to cooperate with the police at all times. Dr. Vishwas lives in Vasundhara area of Indirapuram police station area. It has been said in the complaint that the caller used very abusive language and threatened Dr. Vishwas. After this threat, there is a threat to my and Dr. Vishwas's safety.
