Many types of schemes are being run by the Central Government in the interest of the people. Now PM Vishwakarma Yojana has also been included in these. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched this scheme on the occasion of his 73rd birthday on Sunday.
This Rs 13,000 crore government scheme of the Central Government will prove to be instrumental in helping people with traditional skills to start their own businesses. Under this scheme, the government will provide skill training to the beneficiaries along with a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh in two phases. This amount will play an important role in starting their business.
People having traditional skills like goldsmith, blacksmith, barber and cobbler will get benefit through this scheme. Carpenters, boat makers, blacksmiths, locksmiths, goldsmiths, potters making pottery and other items, sculptors, masons, fish net makers and toy makers will get a chance to avail benefits under the scheme.
