PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Every year, crores of farmers are given financial assistance under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, Rs 6,000 is transferred annually to eligible farmers in three installments directly into their bank accounts. However, due to some reasons this money does not reach the accounts of many farmers. Which farmers will not benefit?

Farmers holding constitutional positions like MP, MLA, Minister or Municipal President do not get the benefit of this scheme.
Even farmers paying income tax cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.
Farmers who have any institutional land also cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.

Go to the official website – First of all go to the official website of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana pmkisan.gov.in.

Click on ‘Farmer Corner’ – The option of ‘Farmer Corner’ will be available on the home page of the website. Click on it.

Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ – Within the farmer corner you will find the option ‘Beneficiary Status’. After clicking on it you will have to select your state, district, sub-district, block and village.

Enter your Aadhaar number or mobile number – Next you have to enter your Aadhaar number or mobile number which you have registered for the scheme.

Get information- As soon as you click on the submit button, complete information will appear on your screen. Here you can check whether your name is in the list of beneficiaries or not and what is the status of your installment.

If your name is not in the list then work

If your name is not in the list, you should first ensure that you have applied with correct information. For this you can contact your nearest agriculture office or get information by calling helpline number 155261.
