Bhopal, 26 October (HS). Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that the people of Rewa and Vindhya are with development. I have come to greet you in the historical land of Lalgaon. The government formed by you is working wholeheartedly for the all-round welfare of all of you.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla had reached Lalgaon in Rewa on Saturday. Here he was honored by welcoming him with Gajmala and handing over a congratulatory letter. On this occasion, Shukla said that due to availability of irrigation resources from the canals of Bansagar in Rewa district, wealth has started emerging from the land. In the coming time, every inch of land in the district will be irrigated and irrigation facilities will be available in 9 thousand acres of area. He said that along with the state, Vindhya region has also taken wings of development and our district and Vindhya have come to be known as a developed region.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that tenders have been issued for works worth Rs 75 lakh in the cow sanctuary in Hinauti Gaudham of Mangawan assembly constituency. In the coming time, it will be fully developed by sanctioning an amount of more than Rs 20 crore. There is about 300 acres of revenue land in the sanctuary and the availability of suitable land for the cows will be ensured by planting trees in one thousand acres of area adjacent to it. The cow sanctuary will be made self-reliant by making it economically strong, which will be a shelter for more than 25 thousand cows.
He said that in the coming one year, by providing all the health facilities in the rural areas of the state, the state will be made the top state in the country in health parameters.
Cricket competition started
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla inaugurated the Lalgaon Premier League cricket competition. On this occasion, MLA Eng. Narendra Prajapati, former MLA KP Tripathi, District Panchayat President Neeta Kol, Municipal Corporation President Rewa Vyankatesh Pandey, program organizer Dhirendra Tiwari and local public representatives were present.
