A similar case has come to light in Faridabad, in which a person named Arun in Dabua police station area was lured by cyber criminals on WhatsApp and asked to complete small tasks. Later, they started instigating him to commit suicide. The result was that Arun came under the influence of cyber criminals and ended his life by hanging himself. To ensure that no other person becomes a victim of such criminal incident and other cyber crimes, an advisory has been issued by Faridabad Police, in which the police has given information to the general public about protection from such crimes.
The police spokesperson said on Sunday that loneliness is more responsible for this type of mental state in which a person feels completely alone. He is looking for someone to express his feelings. He searches for him on social media. When he finds someone on social media who listens to him, he shares all his thoughts with him. There are some vicious criminals on social media too who try to cause financial loss to innocent people by luring them with their words or are always on the lookout to commit some kind of heinous crime.
