Won medal by breaking Asian record
The 34-year-old performed her best in her second attempt and broke her own Asian record of 16.30 meters. She made this record by winning the gold medal at the World Para-Athletics Championships held in Japan in May 2024. Khilari's silver medal is the 11th medal won in para-athletics in the current Para Games. She also won a gold medal in the Asian Para Games held in China last year. The F46 category is for athletes with arm weakness, muscle weakness or reduced arm movement. In this, athletes compete standing.
