This is the first time in Pakistan that Pakistan Police is protesting against the Pakistan Army. The policemen have also blamed the army for terrorist activities in the Pakhtunkhwa region and unrest in the country.

On one hand, hunger and unemployment, inflation and terrorist attacks are increasing day by day in Pakistan. Meanwhile, policemen of Lakki Marwat district protested against increasing terrorist incidents and targeted killing of police officers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Surprisingly, they raised slogans against the Pakistani Army and blamed the Pakistani Army for the insecurity prevailing in Lakki Marwat district.

This is the first time that the police has protested against the Pakistani army and blamed it for the unrest in the area. Terrorist incidents have increased in Lakki Marwat district since last month, last week five police officers were martyred in firing by terrorists. After which there is anger among the policemen and they are demanding their security from the government.

Policemen shouting slogans against the army during the protest

During the protest, the policemen raised slogans against the army and demanded the government to remove them. The policemen say that the army is responsible for the increasing terrorist incidents in the district. They said that if the army is removed from here and the entire responsibility of the anti-terrorism operation is handed over to them, they will wipe out the terrorists within three months.

The policemen also blocked the Peshawar-Karachi Sindhu Highway in protest and raised strong slogans against the officers. Apart from this, the policemen have refused to return to their duty and have formed a 6-member committee to talk to the officers.

The condition of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is even worse

In the last few months, attacks against the police have increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Just last month, some terrorists ambushed and killed 5 police officers. After which three policemen were martyred in the firing by terrorists who had entered from Afghanistan.
