Jhansi, 01 August (HS). Like the previous years, this year also a three-day seminar on Bundelkhand's contribution to the development of Hindi literature is being organized in the Hindi Department's Arts Faculty at Deendayal Upadhyaya Research Centre, Bundelkhand University, in collaboration with Hindustani Academy, Prayagraj. On the 3rd, 4th and 5th of August, Acharyas, intellectuals, students and researchers from all over the country and the state will participate in this seminar.
Hindi Department Chairman Prof. Munna Tiwari said that for the last 7 years, the award is being given in the name of national poet Maithilisharan Gupt. The recipients of this award include famous litterateurs Kanhaiya Singh, Maitrayi Pushpa, former Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank”, former Vice Chancellor Surendra Dubey. This year, this award is being given to Padma Shri Awadh Kishore Jadia. Along with this, magician of songs Vishnu Saxena, popular youth poet Niloptal Mrinal and Vinamr Sen Singh will entertain people with their poems.
