Madhya Pradesh, 8 July (HS). The collector's action is progressing in the case of looting of parents in the name of school fees and copy books in Jabalpur. In this case, action was taken against the operators and responsible persons of 11 schools. But now there is a relief news in this case, the fees of 6 out of 11 schools have been reduced and the decision on 5 schools is still pending. The collector has taken a good initiative in the case of schools charging high fees against the rules. The collector has reduced the fees of 6 private schools, this will give some relief to the parents from the huge fees.
Names of schools whose fees were reduced: Little World School Katanga, Christ Church Boys and Girls School, Stemfield International School, Gyan Ganga Arcade International School, Chaitanya Techno Vidyalaya Jabalpur Vijay Nagar, Christ Church Diocesan School Ghampaur; there are currently 5 schools left.
Apart from this, the collector had given a deadline to all the private school operators to correct the mistake. After the action taken against the fee hike and monopoly of dress and books, Collector Deepak Saxena had given time till July 28 to all the private schools of the city. Earlier in a meeting, the private school operators had told the collector that they would correct their mistake and present the information before the collector by July 28. But till now the information about the correction of mistakes by any school has not reached the collector. So far only a few schools have followed this instruction. In the meeting, the schools were directed to put the information of their fee hike, dress and books on the portal. According to Collector Deepak Saxena, till now he has not received the information of most of the private schools who have put the information of fee hike, dress and books on the portal. Whatever be the case, but if the deadline given by the collector is not followed, action can be taken against these schools after July 28.
